The new neck has no branding on it making it look like an old Fender Nocaster. It is however, a no-name guitar The guitar consists of many brands and many parts from various locations.

The new neck on my guitar is maple and involved customising the neck joint on the body of the guitar slightly as the neck was slightly wider than the original. The Wilkinson tuning pegs that I had put on the old neck were taken off that neck and put onto this neck.

This is the end of my guitar that involved the most work. I took all of the existing controls out so I could make the pickup hole larger for the new humbucking bridge pickup. I had the new pickup professionally rewired so I could then put the pickup in using the new bridge. The scratchplate had to be cut out to make way for the larger bridge and the volume/tone controls were replaced as well.

Swamp Wallaby in the Bush

I have already taken a shot of one of these swamp wallabies. But I liked that this wallaby had surrounded itself with long grass and tree branches. The photograph seems more 'wild' than it really is.

Experimenting with a Nikon D60 DSLR. This shot was taken using the 220mm zoom on the auto setting. This shot was taken at Fingal in New South Wales. Capturing the bird mid flight was tricky and this was the best of three quick shots as the bird flew by.
